LEAVING OUR FACILITY SAFELY. USING A CONTACTLESS PROCESS
You may leave your window closed upon exit. and simply hold your driver’s license up to the window. Our exit gate agent will be wearing a mask and will verify your information from outside.
We perform multiple cleanings for each vehicle and are using EPA-certified disinfectants before and after each rental. with special attention paid to: steering wheels. dashboards. handgrips. radio dials. cup holders. center consoles. and interior/exterior door handles.
RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE SAFELY AND SANITIZING THE VEHICLE FOR THE NEXT RENTER
• Upon returning the vehicle to our facility. please gather all of your belongings and exit the vehicle.
• We will send your receipt to the email address on file. or you may retrieve your receipt by clicking here.
• A paper receipt will be available if required. Return agents will be wearing masks.
• Further cleaning will occur after the vehicle is moved to our cleaning stations to ensure that multiple cleanings are done for each vehicle.

HYGIENIC STANDARDS IN OUR BRANCHES
We have distributed hygiene materials and introduced intensive cleaning processes to minimize virus transmission in our branches. Additionally, we are following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) to reduce the risk of transmission during the Coronavirus outbreak by updating our operations, for example:
• Instructing our employees to wash their hands thoroughly and regularly.

We are implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our locations and vehicles, in alignment with guidance from health authorities. This includes routine cleaning with a recommended disinfectant of all frequently touched surfaces at our locations, such as countertops, door handles, kiosks, workstations and bathrooms.
We also have a very formal training process in place that instructs all employees about the proper cleaning of vehicles. Of particular focus, our procedures mandate a thorough cleaning and wiping of the interior with a recommended disinfectant. This includes the dashboard, instrument panel, steering wheel, center console, cup holders, compartments, seats, between console and seats, between doorjambs and seats, door and door pockets, among other areas. We are frequently reinforcing the importance of this process with our employees.

Go Safe Plan: Choose a hire car to move around safely
At Record go, we’ve launched the Go Safe plan at all our branches with the aim of offering our customers the safest transport option. To do this, we’ve reinforced the standard cleaning processes of our rental cars to the highest standard and following disinfection.
Vehicle cleaning and disinfection
All the cars are meticulously cleaned before and after every rental.
• We disinfect the interior, paying special attention to the following parts: steering wheel, indicators, dashboard, handles, entertainment system controls, cup holders, centre console and door handles.
• We carry out a final interior disinfection, with the doors closed and the engine running. In this way, the particles penetrate every crevice of the car and the air ventilation ducts.
• We disinfect the exterior, paying special attention to critical areas like handles, doors and the boot.
• We seal and certify the vehicle, disinfect the key and leave it ready for the next customer.
Safe vehicle collection and return
• We control the maximum capacity of branches.
• We provide our customers with hand sanitiser and masks.
• We disinfect the key with hydroalcoholic gel on the spot.
• We digitalise the rental contract to avoid unnecessary contact (it can also be printed if necessary).
Is it safe to use the Shuttle bus?
Yes, we’ve reinforced the hygiene processes on our buses by applying exhaustive cleaning protocols.
